Classes

All classes at the studio are 2 hours long and meet once a week for 6 or 10 consecutive weeks.

All students receive ‘Studio Privileges’ during the session which allows you to practice on your own whenever the studio is open and wheels are available.

Classes include 35lbs (6 weeks) or 55 lbs (10 weeks) of clay, glazes, and firings. Additional clay may be purchased for $1 per pound.

Minimum age for classes is 10 years old and students under 14 need an adult in the studio when they come in to practice.

make up policy

If you are unable to attend a class we do not offer formal make up classes. You may utilize your studio privileges to make up the hours and in some cases you may be able to attend a class that meets at another time during the week. Hand building students who miss a class will forfeit the project for that week. If Indigo Fire needs to cancel a class due to weather or staff absence there will be a make-up class added to the semester that meets on the same day and at the same time as the original class.
