Our best guess was the black wax on greenware (it didn’t look like underglaze to us) then some combo of lighter glazes it could still be seen through, but would love to know exactly how this was accomplished—it’s so cool!

Hi there, I'm in search of my missing "E" as helpfully pointed out by my feline assistant. These were all fired on 5/17, so not sure where the missing "E" has ended up (it was not in glaze jail). Would appreciate it if anyone happens to know where it is or spots it, thanks!
